Many falsely interpret this to mean that money is evil. That’s not what the verse says. Read the rest of it…
10b ...which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. KJV
The true meaning is now seen, wealth is a tool that godly men can use for the glory of God.

Matt 6:20
20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: KJV
Make your wealth available to God! Consider such Biblical personages as David, Solomon, Barnabas, and the unnamed boy who gave his entire lunch to feed 5,000.
The world's standards teach that the majority of men live on less than $2 a day. YOU according to that measure are extremely wealthy!Are you making your WEALTH available to God for the expansion of His Kingdom?
